About Sprout
More than representation. We're here to help you navigate the industry.
More than representation.
Sprout Kids Agency was built with an understanding of this industry from both sides — creative and parent.
We know that representation is about more than submitting a child for jobs. It is also about helping families understand the process, keeping talent prepared, building strong professional habits, and making sure parents know where to go when they have questions.
Sprout Access was created to make that easier. This is where represented talent and families can stay connected, keep materials current, learn how the agency works, and better understand the world of castings, bookings, payments, travel, and professional modeling.
The people behind Sprout.
Shaina
Shaina's journey began behind the lens as a photographer, where she developed a natural eye for detail, composition, and the subtle qualities that make a child stand out.
As a mother, her perspective deepened. She experienced the industry firsthand not just as a creative, but as a parent navigating it.
Emily
Emily's path into the industry began through motherhood and evolved into a deeper role within the agency itself.
With a background in modeling and more than a decade of industry experience, she brings both perspective and precision to talent development, castings, bookings, and helping families navigate the business.
The right question. The right person.

Let's talk about the 20%.
For most non-union Sprout bookings, there are two separate 20% amounts:
Client Agency Fee — 20%
This is paid by the client on top of the talent's rate. It is not taken from your child's stated talent rate.
Talent Commission — 20%
This is the commission the represented talent pays Sprout from their earnings according to their representation agreement.
These are two separate agency income streams.
If your child's talent rate is $1,000:
The client may be billed:
- $1,000 Talent Rate
- + $200 Client Agency Fee
- = $1,200 Client Invoice
The talent's commission is calculated separately:
- $1,000 Talent Rate
- − $200 Talent Commission
- = $800 to Talent before applicable payroll taxes, deductions, or other job-specific adjustments.
When a casting says "+20% agency fee," that does not mean an additional 20% is being taken out of your child's rate.
The client agency fee is paid by the client in addition to the talent rate.
Project terms can vary. Always review the specific rate information provided for each booking.
Don't wait for the travel job.
Travel opportunities can sometimes move very quickly.
If your family is open to travel work, we strongly recommend keeping valid passports current before an opportunity comes in. Do not wait until your child books an international or travel job to begin the passport process.
If a parent, guardian, sibling, or other family member may need to travel with the model, make sure the necessary family members have current passports as well.
Travel-ready family = current passports before the booking.
