Casting Profiles

Your casting profile is your digital calling card. Keep it complete, current, and accurate.

Why casting profiles matter.

Casting directors use platforms like Casting Networks to search for talent, review submissions, and make decisions — often without ever contacting the agency directly. An incomplete or outdated profile means missed opportunities. A complete, current profile means you show up in the right searches.

Casting Networks

Casting Networks is the primary platform Sprout uses for submissions. Your profile here should be fully complete at all times.

Current headshot and full-length photo as your primary images
Accurate height, weight, and all measurements
Correct clothing and shoe sizes
Hair color, eye color, and ethnicity filled in accurately
Skills and special abilities listed
Union status up to date

PortfolioPad: No action needed from you. Sprout creates and manages your child's PortfolioPad profile internally.

Profile best practices

01

Log in regularly to check that your profile is still active and complete. Platforms occasionally reset fields or require re-verification.

02

Update your primary photo every time you update your digitals with Sprout. Your casting profile photo and your Sprout photos should always match.

03

If Sprout asks you to set up a profile on a new platform, do it promptly. Delays mean missed submissions.

04

Never change your representation information on a casting platform without checking with Sprout first.
